Well that’s why they will walk away with no deal. No matter the cost. Pride is more important than food supply.

I want to see people who bang on about the EU "making people vote till they get the right answer" look very silly.

This is great. Tories wanting the whip withdrawn from Michael Hestletine for being nice about Corbyn and nasty about Brexit.
The Bow Group, a rightwing Conservative pressure group whose patrons include Norman Lamont and John Redwood, said: “Heseltine has made clear it is his aim to prevent Brexit at all costs, including the sabotage of his own party and nation, the Conservative party must therefore withdraw the whip and end the inevitable continuation of his sniping from inside the tent.”

But Tory MEPs who tried to give the government a nudge by voting to say it wasn't making enough progress on negotiations, that's bad and they lose the whip.
And this vote was a couple of months ago, when the negotiations were properly going nowhere. The flurry of activity in the last week suggested these MEPs had a point.

I got to the second comment. I've never heard this one before.
Any Remainer can move to an EU country under free movement rules and remain an EU citizen.
Given that our country is supposedly going suffer an economic catastrophe, why are the Remainers still here? How come I can still hear them?
Millions of East Europeans got off their backsides and came here, how come the Remainers won't head in the opposite direction?
You have dozens of countries to choose from. You can Remain in the EU forever. Go.

Andrew Adonis has resigned from the Infrastructure Commission, in protest over Brexit. He's been having something of a mid-life crisis recently, transforming himself from the ultimate wonk into a fearless "straight talker", and made an arse of himself. Yet I'll give him credit here.

But because he's sound on Europe that's ok.
