Y'know what I've done?

Become besotted and engrossed and addicted to friggin' World of Warcraft. That's what.

I get excited by leather belst with + 10 agility. I post "DING" to my guild-mates when I level up (lvl 43 Night Elf Druid...for those in the know). I love dungeon runs. I have a buddy in the states who I e-mail about hints, tips & strategies. I use words like tank and grinding, I use acronyms like DPS, AoE and DoT without thinking.

I'm hooked.

Laugh at me.

Then confess...who else...someone has to be. I refuse to believe I'm the only OTFer in Azeroth.

EIM: You should google 'black tiger' before you type.

A black tiger is a rare color variant of the tiger and is not a distinct species or geographic subspecies. There are unconfirmed reports and one painting (now lost) of pure black non-striped tigers (true melanistic tigers), but no physical evidence. What was thought to be black tiger was either a black panther or a black leopard. Most black mammals are due to the non-agouti mutation. Agouti refers to the ticking of each individual hair. In certain light, the pattern still shows up because the background color is less dense than the color of the markings.

So-called black tigers are due to pseudo-melanism. Pseudo-melanistic tigers have thick stripes so close together that the tawny background is barely visible between stripes. Such tigers are said to be getting more common due to inbreeding. They are also said to be smaller than normal tigers, perhaps also due to inbreeding or because large black leopards are misidentified as black tigers. A discussion of black tigers was presented by British cryptozoologist Dr Karl Shuker in his book Mystery Cats of the World[1].

I was at my Father's house a couple of weeks back and - long story short - I looked in a cupboard in my mothers old room that I hadn't looked in for years. And there, under a pile of other stuff, were all my old Rolemaster and Spacemaster books - boxes and boxes of them.

Fuck!

I'd only been thinking to myself a few days before how I must have given them to some charity shop when I moved out of home ...but no.

So... 2pm Sunday, round my place, yeah? Bring coke, crisps and errr... anything else you might want to partake of.
