That's certainly one way of putting it. The lawyers that he hires can't be like this in their everyday practice surely? I mean just how long can you survive as a practicing attorney in America If you can't do basic paperwork?

They seem to be making the case that they don't have to meet New York's corporate standards to post a surety, because they're not licensed to post a surety in New York, which is a fucking fascinating legal argument.

Also, disbarred Trump lawyer John Eastman has asked to keep practicing law - on behalf of MTG and teen-sex enthusiast Matt Goetz - because he has no other way to pay his bills.
Like a convicted drug dealer asking if it would be okay to keep dealing because he has mouths to feed.

The press releases and "leaks" will keep coming.

What will the NYT and Politico write about now? How will they fill their pages with wishful thinking third party nonsense that will come to nothing? There’s surely only so many “RFK will bleed votes from Democrats stories” they can run, aren’t there?

Am I right in thinking that that is something he can't make go away even if he wins the election?

Surely this would be an unwise time to be engaging in the usual chicanery? You know, given this whole thing stems from the financial statements he gave lenders and all that jazz

It doesn't necessarily have to be that trustworthy.

He and the Trump Organization will have been under the obligation of regularly providing such statements to lenders.

Read a good article on the assorted crackpots who support RFK Jr. The phrase in the article, "alienated political eccentrics", seems pretty accurate.

He got a non-Elmo fanboy to post the bond.

Yeah, it's hard to believe this move is based on fundamentals, because if the price was based on fundamentals, it would be zero or close to it.
