look at dominic cumming's face, and remember he's posing for a photograph. i'm not sure what evil or bad looks like exactly but i know this is not "good"!

Naah, none of the wee lads are ginga bastards (auburn! Yis cunts. Never forgive, never forget).
I once met a girl from dundee and her dad worked in DC thompson. apparently they were overlooking a playground, and that was where they got a lot of their inspiration for the bash st kids from. Her dad also was one of the people who created Bananaman.
Presuming the "GoveBusters" taunt was a reference to Ghostbusters, which came out in 1984, that would mean Gove was getting bullied at age 17, which is a wee bit old and makes me doubt the story. But then again, this is Scotland...

That may be true, but Leo Baxendale — who created The Bash Street Kids, Little Plum and Minnie the Minx — invented all of them in Preston before Thomson moved him to Dundee.
the one I could never get my head around was the Jocks and the geordies. Now I appreciate their efforts to keep the border wars alive, but I always thought that jocks was a bit Greavsiesque for a scottish drawn cartoon.
Aha seen it now, that's full on Rick Moranis Gove in his peacock splendour. Fucking hell what a weirdo. Was that the show where Alan Clark went full on racist bongo bongo land guff? Seem to remember Baddiel doing an "edgy" pro porn think to camera as well. Have no memory of the boy Gove though. Small mercies.

Aye it reeks a bit of drunken fabrication getting respectable in print. But definitely seen bullying/ostracisation in sixth year high school, can imagine worse in a fee paying school for a scholarship toad faced interloper.
But as you say, maybe it's just a Sweaty thing. Americans though when met after their bagging onto Erasmus courses often seemed to have fine reminisces of torturing the weak/being tortured from only a few years prior to hitting Europe for legal drinking.
Chris Grayling is Theresa May's campaign manager and would likely have a key role in a May government - probably leading the Brexit negotiations. Chris Grayling! It's almost enough to make you hope for a Fox win.

In fairness, you could say the same of Theresa May herself (she's 'only' been there for six years).

Gove is a decade older than me and I avoid conflict, but he still makes me want to bully him.
