Traffic jams reaching 30 km in regions of Sergipe, including entrances from Aracaju. They report that it takes 3 hours to cover a stretch that would normally take 20 minutes thanks to illegal traffic checks by the Federal Highway Police.
Voting in Brazil is compulsory. More and more evidence that pro Bolsanoro police are trying to prevent Lula supporters getting to the polls

Even with the more Bolsonaro-leaning areas largely reporting first, Lula is on 48% of the vote after 10% of returns, which suggests he'll ultimately win by a comfortable margin.

God I wonder what it would be like to have this level of optimism

Well, DR's statement is consistent with how the vote progressed throughout the evening during the first round (with Lula only pulling away in the second half of vote counting). Sounds like realism to me.

The bigger concern is whether the results will be respected.

Bolsonaro up 51. 23% to Lula's 48.77% with a quarter of the vote in, as per the Beeb.

DR's official count link gives live results. The gap is now 0.62% with 49.72% of votes counted.

                                            Up to 0.3% lead now.

Do these figures include the votes from outside the country, which we expect to break heavily for Lula?

Ta. A little less of a safety margin then.

With 87% of votes counted, the lead has grown to 1%, so probably 2-4% of a difference by the finish.

It's an indictment for democracy that this is still so bloody tight, but at least it looks like the coin is going to flip in the right direction.
