Someone off the radio has died

Apparently he was also going to broadcast the "wartime radio service" when he would tell people to stay in and die in their homes from starvation, disease, dehydration, and radiation sickness.

Rather than wander outside to do it.

One of my "favourite" bits of advice from Protect & Survive was to protect yourself from the radiation by burying yourself in a shallow grave. Oh, but don't forget to keep your passport on you.

They played a "turn your radio on on the hour, every hour to hear the news" tribute to him at the end of Today, just before the 9am news. I wasn't aware anyone had died both the wife and I were quite unnerved.

To some of us, Donald Peterson was very well known. I thought he had been reading the headlines on "The News Quiz" quite recently but obviously not.
