It’s actually a section through our upstairs bathroom floor, which the plumber had to drill through to push pipes down. So that’s authentic 1940 Aussie concrete.
We only had sweet ones made with tinned fruit cocktail.

Here's a photo of the NYC power outage last night.

I like the effect of the car lights on the mirrored glass buildings.

I’m up at Cabrillo National Monument for the sunset 5k this evening. Walking it with the missus. It’s the only day of the year you get to be up here at sunset, I think.

Thanks FF. New buildings going up on Melbourne’s Southbank. The one on the far left, Eureka Tower, is a bit older and currently tallest in the city and no. 2 in Australia. But who knows how tall that one in progress will end up? This was taken from the same spot as the one on Mundane Thread II but pivoting 90 degrees right.

                                Love that San Diego view.

My vows contained words about how I love the mundane parts of our life together, and about how I love that she can't get over how I prefer to enjoy the mundanely hanging on the couch wearing dress pants rather than jogging pants. This relationship of her and me, it is truly the best.

Wouter, that is so lovely. I hope you enjoy many years of blissful mundanity together.

Nice one Wouter - congratulations. Venue somewhere on the Dutch coast is my guess, if that's a rig out at sea in the second pic?

It is Scheveningen. She wanted to get married on the beach, and my father's side of the family live close by Den Haag, so this was the perfect place.

Uncle Ethan the water looks lovely. Is that near the spot where local kids jump in, terrifyingly close to the rocks?
