    Oh, they could be toads. I thought I knew my toads as I see them crawling around. I didn’t know they also did their romancing in ponds.

      Try and stop them 'cuddling' and put a couple on the lawn - if they hop, they're frogs. Toads have more of a swaggering waddle.

                                        It was 17 degrees yesterday but also windy as hell, clouds were charging across the sky, the sea was calm but for the wind whipping in from landward. A strange day.

                                          Yesterday we spent in the Santa Fe area. We saw some very old and very new art. First, petroglyphs from La Cieneguilla:



                                          Then to see the very modern and massive Ethyl the Whale, made of single-use plastic.
