Given the frequency of the photos, I'm starting to wonder if Spoony has been kicked out and is now living on the beach, occasionally allowed back into the house to cook the odd delicious evening meal.

I was thinking that as the weather was always nice in Spoony's pics perhaps he took them all on the only sunny day in Ireland over the winter and has been drip-feeding them to us to give the false impression of it being a tropical paradise.

Dublin is incredibly un rainy for Ireland, normally. Last March/April/May had barely a drop, the first lockdown was great for sunny if crisp days. Of course summer was as damp and drizzly as you like, as soon as restrictions eased.

It is very flat along this coastal strip. In that first photo, the left bank of the river is Merseyside, the right bank is West Lancashire.
