    Nestle and water

    This is self-explanatory:

    http://action.storyofstuff.org/sign/nestle_water_privatization_push

I remember the protests back in the 1970s and 1980s about their ruthless and dangerous hard sell of baby milk formula in third world countries where most mothers have no sterilisation facilities.

Seems like they are getting into new ways of killing poor people as an incidental casualty of their hunt for greater profits. Utter scum. I've been a reasonably thorough boycotter of Nestle products for a few decades now, and will redouble my efforts.

Yes, it's a tricky boycott to maintain given how many brands they own, but it's the only one I never break. Cunts.

The Nestle boycott isn't that big in the US, but they've got a lot of bad publicity recently because some of their bottled water comes from California groundwater, and they haven't slowed down despite our extreme drought.
