He shouldn't have flown into that asteroid field

Harrison Ford slices one up the fairway.

That would be classed an immovable obstruction, and if the plane interfered with a player's swing or stance in attempting to play a ball coming to rest against or near it, they may drop without penalty one club length from the nearest point of relief no nearer the hole, before playing their next shot.

Quick thinking to fly into the golf course:

The visibility was good too apparently. Over the radio he said he could see a fair way.

Was he flying Solo? (It's good news that he's going to be ok, obviously.)

After crash-landing, Ford was initially treated by doctors who happened to be at the golf course.
            There's handy!

Probably. He wouldn't have had much time to gain altitude.

Flying old planes like that always represents a clear and present danger.

That was rather forced, wasn't it?

I can't believe I have to bear witness to another pun thread.

I hope this is your last crusade.

Obviously he didn't get frantic when crossing over and took extraordinary measures to avoid what lies beneath.

The plane looked in decent shape apart from the wings. Looks like there is a hole in one.

                            Below par. Try harder.

Is your post deliberate Partridge or accidental Partridge Rogin?

There's a very nice restaurant (Typhoon) at the Santa Monica airport. Harrison Ford and his young girlfriend dined at the next table when I was there once. He must have just landed and "dropped in" for a bite.

May have mentioned this before, but nothing makes me feel older than watching a film starring 'young' Harrison Ford (not even that young - early 1990s as a cut off, Patriot Games maybe).
