Forgive the thread title, couldn't think of anything else. Of course, this story has taken on many connotations in the press. but is it a case of a parking dispute with a nutter with a gun?

North Carolina is stuffed with active theists. A tiny proportion will be Islamic. It seems rather coincidental that the three people he is accused of killing in his apparent crusade against religions happen to be from that one in particular.Comment

I don't think many parking disputes end up in execution-style murders of three members of a family, even here in gun-crazed America. A senseless murder? Possibly. But this seems far beyond that.
Even if he wasn't motivated by hatred of religious people, the police writing it off as just a parking argument gone wrong was horribly insensitive.Comment
