Throughout the years that the surveillance was taking place, the Met concealed a report of an internal investigation that said it could “reasonably be concluded that a police officer” struck the blow to the head which killed Peach in 1979.
The article doesn't mention they also found lethal adapted weapons in the suspected policemen's lockers.

Murder someone- then spy on their partner for trying to bring the murderers to justice.

It was Inspector Alan Murray who killed Blair Peach. This LRB piece by David Renton explains what happened, as best we know

BBC news just reported that Nicola Sturgeon said she was "deeply concerned" by the incident, but for some reason that only they can explain, failed to qualify that what she was actually deeply concerned about was the actions of the UK Home Office.

The original kidnappers were immigration cops and their colleagues arrived, tooled-up and mob-handed, to defend them.

It's not that some men who are / were policemen committed domestic abuse, in and of itself bad enough

But that the Police don't investigate and act and collude to protect their own from serious allegations of abuse and assault

As you know better than most, it has been been a shit 16 years for Jean Charles de Menezes.

Dick's ability to survive massive scandals dating back at least that long is gob-smacking.
