    Tommy Robinson, master of tolerance

The violent ex-leader of the far right English Defence League is set to give talks on tolerance to schoolchildren.

Tommy Robinson – a convicted thug, fraudster and football hooligan – is due to begin his tour within days.

I don't have kids. I have a couple of nieces (niecii?) and a nephew. If Tommy Robinson ever turned up to their school to talk to them about anything at all, let alone his version of tolerance, I'd be down there dragging him and the headteacher out to the carpark by their hair for a little chat about my version of tolerance.

According to TR's friends and supporters, he's been having long chats out of the window with Julian Assange, who is of course in the cell below, and is keen to bond with his fellow journalist and truth teller.

It's a shame that his fellow prisoners didn't instead choose to engage him in respectful debate

    By someone aged 70.

It couldn't have happened to a 'nicer' bloke.

According the Mirror, Yakult Lemsip has been smacked in the face by an OAP in the showers at Belmarsh for "acting like a celebrity".

If that cough had a lump in it, then that's pretty much what they deserve.

Yeah. I think that's why Rebel Media has a more universal (cough) vision than SNN.

Who's this Ezra Levant bloke, of Rebel Media non-fame?

He ran the Sun News Network* for the three years of it's existence. It was a sort of almost-one man Fox News for Canadians. The viewing figures were miniscule, barely three figures sometimes. Rebel Media is a kind of reboot, with pretty much the same cast of characters.

Levant is a typically extreme Alberta conservative. He's big on stuff like getting rid of the minimum wage, trade unions, public pension plans, universal health care and subsidised education.

    * Nothing to do with Murdoch's Sun

He's sort of the Canadian Breitbart, though Rebel often hires people who are too toxic even for Breitbart et al.

Maybe he hired them like the US used Navaho indians during WWII.

I suspect it's what one of those conversations between terrorists looks like after they've gone through a sophistication encryption process.

You can now see how Michael Collins kept getting the drop on the British during the Irish Independence fight.
