    The anti-bucket list.

You know those phony-baloney lists of things you just need to do before you kick the bucket? I suspect most of them consist of stuff that people have seen on other people's bucket lists and thought "Yeah, I'd like to try that, too".

    So, here's what I don't give a damn if I ever do:

    Run a marathon.
    Skydive.
    Climb Everest.

    And you?

    Yeah, those plus:

    Meet any of my idols
    Drive a sports car
Join the Mile High club (have you seen the leg-room on an Easyjet flight?)
    Run out on match-day at
    Play Kerplunk with Keith Chegwin

I'm on board with almost all of these.

        Jump out of a plane
        Bungee
Get to the top of big mountains
        Go to India
Swim with great whites (or even dolphins(
        Go to Tomatina
Read anyone else's list of 100 books
See anyone else's list of 100 films
Fart in the presence of the monarch

I thought this was going to be a list of people who hated buckets, to which we could perhaps sign up.

I agree with all of these although I might like to skydive if I could do it without paying much. Same for seeing Asia.

See, that I actively don't want to do. If the opportunity to go to Asia arose, I would go and I am sure I would love it.

I just don't feel the need to go presently and certainly not in the bucket list fashion.

The only time I want to jump out of a plane with a parachute is when it is about to crash. It's the natural way. Having said that, if I ever find myself in that position, I am probably less likely to use a parachute than ever.

I did a static line parachute jump and it was fucking amazing. My first time flying, too, for that added frisson of excitement.

I saw them three years back and they were very, very good. Howe's left the band now, though.

                                Everything.

There's absolutely nothing I'm desperate to do/see/have done/seen before I die, apart from have lived a decent further chunk of years and seen all my nearest and dearest stay alive and well all that time.

Sure, there are some things which might be fun that I'd like to do and probably won't get the chance to, but plenty of good stuff already happens to me, so I can live with that.

Oh, there's plenty that I would like to see and do before I expire, but getting a throbbing altitude headache while gasping for breath to see Machu Pichu in person is not one of them. I'm sure the photos do do it justice.

The altitude at Machu Picchu isn't that bad. Cusco is where you get your ass kicked.

Is getting a tattoo a bucket list thing now? I suppose it is. Having a shit old faded tattoo, now that's a thing.
