My girlfriend uses her college computer and her laptop for her research. She saves all her files to her 128 MB Lexar Jump Drive. It's just a bog standard USB memory stick.
I know that keeping all your important files in one unreliable place is a bad idea. I didn't feel like telling her this last night when the drive stopped working.
Can data be recovered from these things? It's not recognised by the computer (I've tried three now computers now to be safe) and before had a flashing red light when connected. Nothing flashes now.
SO, OTFers, save my girlfriend and earn me valuable brownie points. Obviously I just need the data stored in it, I don't need the drive to function again once I have that. Any ideas on who could help me?
