Asa Hutchinson breaths a little easier....

          Claude Rains, etc.

It's got to be embarrassing to be the first to go from this field.

Nice little bump in numbers for Ron there, potentially.

Rather pointless if they're all in Florida, the only state where he's remotely competitive.

I was thinking more that Ron is working voter numbers in the handfuls as a win.

DeSantis seems to be hoping on getting a good result in early states and letting the momentum carry him from there.

The indictments (and the mug shot) have not boosted Trump's numbers, contrary to his online supporters. But it hasn't really driven people away from him, either.

I'm not going to link to the story because the source is the Daily Mail, and even if we didn't despise their politics I wouldn't want to inflict their website on anybody...but...

It appears that Kristi Noem has been having a long affair with Corey Lewandowski. Which is probably going to fuck her in the Veepstakes.

The Florida governor Ron DeSantis fell to fifth in a new New Hampshire poll, trailing not just Donald Trump, the runaway leader for the Republican presidential nomination, but Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley and Chris Christie.

And he's focusing on the early primaries...

Yeah. The Great Establishment Saviour idea that’s beloved of certain non-Trumpy establishment Republicans keeps coming up and yet all the possible candidates are rubbish, partly because they’re establishment.

I just saw my first Ramaswamy yard sign today: “Vivek Truth”. It feels like the old Ron Paul ones. It’ll probably still be there in 20 years.

                                      Can’t argue with that.

So, both De Santis and Patrick Henry are faking tallness? Does everyone in the GOP lie about their height or weight?

Hahahaha! I did wonder if that was going to happen. I've read so much fan love about RFKjr from Republicans and none from Democrats. I'm sure that fan love started off as hoping he'd act as a spoiler for Biden, and then in a third party run that he'd bleed votes from the Dems. But there's been so much of it and it's been so adoring that it increasingly looked like it might appeal to a certain class of Republican voter. Particularly the kind who thinks of themselves as "independent" and "free thinking" but always votes Republican

Will be interesting to see if he gets disinvited from CPAC, where he was given a prime slot earlier this week
