    Third article is:

Further backlash against center parcs closure

Plenty of the British public did love the Queen. But they really, really love pre-booked holidays in center parcs. And that's a lot of the same demographic.

Of all the nations on Earth, who would have predicted one in five voting Swedes would vote for their home grown Nazis?

Although it’s worth remembering again that they did only get 20% of the vote. Horrific though that number is, it’s weird that it’s presented as them winning the election.

Anyone who'd read the Dragon Tattoo trilogy?
Or indeed much 'Scandinavian noir' (which often has how thin the social democratic veneer was spread over society as a theme)

Let's not kid ourselves that a neo-Nazi party couldn't get 20% of the vote in the UK or USA given the popularity of some political viewpoints.

A neo-nazi party has never got anywhere close to that in the UK.

The most the BNP ever got was 1.9%. And that was a huge leap for them.

                      They usually polled at 0.1%.

The BNP wasn't the political group I was thinking about.

I was thinking of Farage standing in front of iconography borrowed from the Nazis, and a government policy of hostile environments and shipping non-white people to Africa at enormous cost. Those ideas appeal to enough people that a competent neo-nazi could exploit it.

Yeah, and they wouldn't be called the nazis. They'd have the name of the country in their name, and they'd be standing on a platform of common sense.

This is a decent thread on the other two invasions currently going on in the old USSR.

Massive shoot-out at my local shopping centre at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon when the place is absolutely packed. I was thinking of going there with my daughter as there is an adventure playground in the building you see the man with the pistol escaping from in the video, which she loves
