    Recycling query (UK): acrylic "tombstones"

Question to anyone who works in banking or similar in the UK. You'll be familiar with those dense heavy perspex "tombstone" things (I think "acrylic" is the technical term for that kind of plastic) that get distributed to some individuals who work on chunky deals. I assembled a collection of them over my career as a City lawyer and am now getting rid.

Naturally I'd rather avoid adding to landfill. A quick Google search suggests that the things are 98% recyclable, but that that's a specialist recycling job which the firms who deal with household waste recycling won't do. But I found one tombstone seller in the US who says they arrange that kind of recycling. So what I'm wondering is whether, in this age of large companies having to be environmentally responsible etc, banks might have some kind of recycling arrangement with suppilers or whoever for their tombstone output which I might be able to access. Any ideas?
