On a personal level 2012 was probably the best year of my life. 2001 came close, but I think 2012 topped it. Sorry it's been been pretty crap for some others, but hey, I'm making DVD compilations out of it. Hope 2013's better for us all.Comment

I'm going to be spending this NYE Necking pills, and shooting up and twitching a bit. Mostly hydrocortizone before anyone starts to say what's new. I've been in hospital for four days (I think) and i'm going to be here for another four days. I have crohn's disease, and it got pretty bad in the lead up to christmas. Being able to eat one day in six and drink fluids on two of those days meant that treatment had to be stepped up.
The good news is that banging in a shitload of steroids, and then moving onto a shrinking oral dose for eight weeks should hopefully kick that bad boy into remission for a couple of years, so I can't really complain all that much. It's dead boring though.
