Can't say that much has happened to me biscuit-wise but I still haven't tried those massive custard creams that Costa Coffee are doing. Probably because Costa Coffee are doing them, now I think about it

Top tip*:
I buy those Sainsburys Savers (cheapo) biscuit assortment packs (Shortbread, Custard Cream, Nice and Bourbon) and the Custard Creams in those packs are actually nicer than the ones they sell separately as their non-cheapo line, IMHO. Obviously, this may be setting the bar a bit low, but y'know - just trying to save you lot a few pence.

Completely agree, I just think it's funny that you call them water biscuits (since they're totally dry*)

You don't call them that?
Carr's water biscuits are sold as Table Water crackers in the United States. Several varieties are available. "Table Water" refers to water of a quality that is suitable for drinking at the table.[1][2]

I would like to vote for myself for "Nil Thread of 2012". I feel confident about securing this prize, and quite possibly retaining the crown next year.
Second/thirded for Kettle's Adoptaclub, but have also enjoyed Mundane Thread II very much in recent weeks. Unsurprisingly.
