I was actually surprised when I found out that General Lee was a person and not just a car.

As it happened, it was a while ago.
I did learn today that Americans don't use the term Breakfast Telly/TV/Television so when I was referring to some of the junk breakfast telly that my wife had been watching and called it breakfast telly, I got mocked. Which is doubly unfair as it wasn't me who was watching the dreadful breakfast telly.

Yes, smartass, but there were four of them. I mean, Ringo is obvious...he's the guy who sounds like your atonal mate Steve after a bit too much liquid courage on Karaoke night.

You say this, but it has just occurred to me today that I've never ever bothered to wonder which Beatle sang which song. I've always just thought of them as all being by the Beatles collectively. I mean, I'm pretty sure Ringo sang Yellow Submarine, but otherwise I couldn't tell you who's the lead singer on any of the songs, and I listen to Beatles stuff quite regularly.
