Rotating videos

I need some technical help. I recorded a video on my phone in landscape. But YouTube keeps thinking it's portrait when I upload it. So it shows it sideways on. My ancient PC shows it as landscape and it plays in landscape on the windows media player (I know, I know). YouTube has disabled their rotate video button so I'm at a loss what to do.

Any ideas?

Try re-encoding the video in a program like Handbrake or Avidemux.
