What really stood out for me in this case was this:

"Newcastle Crown Court heard the "cruel and calculating" cage fighting coach and former MMA fighter had 21 convictions for 92 offences over more than 30 years."

WTF, that's on average three offences every year and a conviction at least every 18 months, yet he's still allowed to walk the streets.

I saw the number of convictions, checked the article, saw 'drug offences' and from my life experience contended in my brain that he was a police informant of some description.
