Nef, these things aren't massive problems inherent in capitalism. They're a list of things that are shitty about how the UK and the US want to have a serf society for the young and poor. That's not true of everywhere, and could all be resolved by a homeopathic dose of social democracy. Capitalism is different in every country, and every country is weird in its own way, and does its own flavour of terrible thing. But by looking at other countries you can find solutions to each of these problems that you highlight. I mean there is an element here of "What do they know of england (and USA) that only england (and USA) know?"

what we have is really a type of reverse engineered socialism, where the system is set up such that it very efficiently redistributes wealth to the top 1%

I had a lot of choices.
Though I put it here because it is so blatantly driven by a desire to limit the compensation due a racialised class of labour they has already exploited.
And because money is also at heart of the "science" on which they were relying.
SB, I would be shocked if this ground had not already been covered by the perpetrators of toxic torts.
