When this thread started I didn't know what NFTs were (or at least didn't make the direct connection between that phrase and the NBA thing that was on an earlier thread and mentioned here too), but - as well as the useful explanations here - I have since heard on a podcast that Kings of Leon have released their new album as an NFT. This news doesn't make me any more sympathetic to the concept.
