Tory MP Steve Baker has gone public saying Cummings has to go. First Tory MP to do so but likely not the last. Worth noting he's not centrist either, having previously been ERG chair and a Brexit minister.

This will run into next week. Judging by the marr interview this morning if he went to Durham on 19th he’s definitely toast. I think he’ll have to go anyway. So many people have been seriously affected and seriously acting on lock down that this knob flitting round the country is gonna make the whole country mad.

Looking at the photos of Cummings on the Guardian website this morning, his lanyard (presumably holding the Parliamentary pass that he shouldn't have) is printed with the words 'In God We Trust' which begs the question as to which government he's actually working for.
