My 3% Norwegian dna result doesn’t meet any countries criteria. You can tell us where we’ve moved too once we get there....and which team we support.
Mrs AE is Turkish but we've lived there, and 10 years ago it felt like how the UK is now, deeply polarised etc, so we left.
New Zealand seems like a decent place as do others but there's a language barrier, for example Germany.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Stop the world I want to get off.
Anyone think there’s a chance of still being able to move to France, Portugal, Spain or Italy once the Brexit dust settles with my 3% Norwegian heritage? Seriously?

That fascist greeting of bumping foreheads really gets to me, along with the wolf gesture on one hand, I genuinely fear for my safety if I am in a crowd and see those. There was a lot at football matches unsurprisingly.
We've not been back for a few years now and as much as we'd like our daughter to connect to her culture it's going to be a while before we next go.

This seems an ideal time to post this picture, which I snapped of the front page of the Western Mail last month. One gets the slight feeling that they've had the headline on file for decades and have been waiting all this time to finally have a solid reason to deploy it:

Anyway all this is nothing new. Pat's been posting about keeping out the evil, racist hordes from east of the dyke for weeks now. So, I can't go the EU and I can't even head 15 miles west even though I speak the language better than most of the locals. Fucking thanks!

I think a large number of Welsh people would agree with the original statement. The Welsh independence movement has the same toxic reasoning as the Brexit movement - national sovereignty, don't want people form other countries coming in - but because they're plucky little Wales, not big bad old England, they're somehow better?

Welsh nationalism is undoubtedly less toxic than many other nationalisms I can think of but won't name, because Snake's already having a difficult day. "If you want to live here, you qualify," tends to be the tone I pick up* and that's fine. TBH, if the UK had a decent government, they wouldn't get much traction IMHO. My previous remarks were tongue in cheek.
However, Wales is well Brexity and can't escape that one.
*Barring the usual stuff about second homes, locals being priced out, etc, but that's in every 'nice' place in the world. I was in Seville in Feb. and half the graffiti was on this.

All nationalisms are toxic.
I'm hoping that Wales realises that following and mirroring an English Brexit agenda will see them treated as the bastard son of the bastard son, Cornwall is the same. Both countries should see their futures in Europe, like Scotland and Ireland, rather than as independent or autonomous regions of the UK, if that still exists.
Westminster and Johnson care nowt for Wales and will fuck them over at the first opportunity, we've already seen that with university places.
Apologies for the incoherent rant.
