I really can't explain to myself why I have such little desire to visit Japan. The food is fine, there's scenery and culture etc. Maybe something about its (is this really true?) history of rejecting foreign influences? Or is it too ordered a society for my tastes?

Japan are top of my countries that I definitely want to visit and Australia for the Ashes has been a dream since well before I found out how much it costs. Nothing lese really grabbed my fancy, so Ecuador just shades it from Chile.
