Thanks, again. TBH, I'm really still none the wiser as to what separates the two factions unless it's that one side is a bit more cautious in its pursuit of Scottish independence than the other.

Llandovery has been suffering from bikers during this crisis, it's just fucking ridiculous.

I joined Yes Cymru on the weekend. Mentioned it on Twitter and got one response of "the world needs less borders, not more". I resisted the urge to just reply with "I think you mean fewer" and pointed out that an independent Wales can be an open Wales. If we stay stuck under Westminster then we are going to see a whole load of people kicked out and will be prevented from employing people we need like nurses and care home workers.
I also had someone ask if I'd rather a government made ballsups in Cardiff than in Westminster. To which the honest answer is yes.

Yes Cymru is a movement rather than a party. I like Plaid Cymru and I think their policies are generally very sound. I have been tempted to join them especially after a mate of mine joined them. I just fear they don't have the ability to appeal to the urban areas and win votes in the parts of Wales where people outnumber sheep.
As DR points out there are quite a few Labour members who support independence, although Mark Drakeford is on the record as saying he see nationalism as incompatible with socialism. The Maesteg Yes Cumru twitter account said that was news to the Labour councillors who run the local Yes Cymru group.
I honestly don't believe socialism has a future in Wales unless we are independent. Labour have lost their perennial Northern seats in the last election and we are in the disappointing situation of Wales partly responsible for returning Boris with a large majority.
