This is also a very good example of a post I couldn't have made without quoting a tweet, because that's where the information is. I know some posters don't like seeing lots of tweets but so often they are where the relevant goods are, especially regarding marginalised and demonised groups of people.

It took a huge amount of pressure and complaints, to get Perkins to retract.

His father for anyone who ever read a book about film wasVF (Victor,)Perkins and his mother Tessa Perkins was a pioneer in countering media stereotyping so the fact that he ended up such a rightwing scrote must be making them spin in their graves- countered only by how Ralph Miliband would feel if he could see what happened to David.

Someone recently pointed out to me that while far right parties have never had much electoral success in Romania, that this didn't really matter because the BOR (Romanian orthodox Church) are incredibly powerful and represent an extreme right wing ideology
