I assume Mr. Smith couldn't do that on a non-sweary day. So why's he allowed to do it simply because he's decided to shut the place? It's not his money, at least not all of it.
My grandfather ran a pub in Caernarfon in the 60s and 70s and if he had had to ban customers for swearing practically everybody who ever entered would have been affected thus.
