This isn't quite correct
People are allowed to be very right wing at the BBC
They are allowed to actively campaign against trans rights.

Apart from anything else, they charge €3,000, with no promise that it won't happen again next week. Who's to say that the squatters and the company aren't in cahoots anyway, sounds ripe for a scam.

Isn't it fucking weird how someone who has been on primetime television for so long presenting political shows under their own name have done it for so long without actually being able to say what they think? I mean, Andrew Neil had a magazine and two of the three highest profile shows of their type on the BBC every single week and he was completely and utterly stifled throughout.

As noted in the Mundane Thread a while back, the Queen's eventual demise was said to be a reason for Marr sticking around at the BBC, as he was working on the commemorative broadcasts, so maybe they've got round that by, y'know, just getting someone else to do the voice over.

BBC Wales have put out a news story slamming the A&E waiting times in NHS Wales. During a pandemic. While social care has evaporated leaving hundreds of old people marooned in hospital. And when they let antivax plandemicists on the air "for balance".
