A question was asked by someone who was pro-Labour this week. Was accused of being a Labour plant. He said that he had applied several times and only got on because this time he ticked all the Tory/Brexit boxes.

Similar stories about appropriate box ticking have been doing the rounds for a while.

Bloody hell. I don't know or care that much about basketball, but that makes me feel sick to think they've mixed those two up.

That Jupiter editing system seems a bit ... racist

If you watched the Bbc coverage of the Shrewsbury game you’d never know after the match that there was a blatant handball that could’ve given Salop the winner. Bizarre given how long they normally agonise over VAR on MOTD. Double standards - just like the lack of VAR to award it, as it would’ve.

Barely discussed?? Off the top of my head: Thatcher's "swamped" quote; 1981 Nationality Act; Tebbit's cricket test.

Well, the current UK system is to the left of anyone's plans in the current US field. I don't believe Sanders is talking about nationalising the hospitals, for example. Using Johnson is obviously disingenuous, but I don't think there's a single UK politician who has explicitly talked about moving the NHS to a position as market oriented as anyone in the Democratic field. Of course, the Tory Party wants to achieve exactly that, but none of them dare say so.

If they disinvite Labour MPs, they can give more airtime to the sponsored Nazis in the audience.

this is an exceptional analysis of the BBC and the election

Critics see this as too defensive, at the expense of journalistic excellence, most glaringly in the 10 O’Clock News. There the excellence of the likes of Bowen, Sopel, Kuenssberg, Adler and others is done a disservice by a concern for bogus balance, intrusive and distracting graphics, and unchallenging and personality-led stories.
Fascinated at how the article can go through the mechanics of the BBC's performance at the election and conclude that their most senior political hacks are excellent, just let down by too many graphics.

Yes lots of iinteresting analysis and then suddenly bigging up the BBC like that. And how are Adler and Kuennsberg on the same list? One is good the other isn't.

Adler isn't great analytically either, certainly in comparison with Peter Foster.

If anything, the real racist is the person who looks around at things and says 'this is racist'. It's offensive. Unlike me, I don't see colour; just robust banter.
