It's a funny thing. I'm sure I remember BBC reporting of German regional elections where AfD finished 3rd where the BBC's report was all about the surge and success of the far right.

We have elections here where the Greens and by the SPD finished in actual first place, yet that is hidden way down the report and it's instead reported as a disaster for the current Chancellor.

I've said this on here too, the UK and England in particular are so similar to Turkey, which I left in 2012.

We've become a right wing elected democracy, with the only difference being that we're not seeing Christianity, like Sunni Islam was in Turkey, being used as weapon.
