I've heard 2 BBC radio presenters using the "are we being PUNISHED for our world class viral analysis" argument.

After all, our scientists are provenly better and faster than those of our dodgy European friends.

He's a lying shit and a filthy bigot. And I even bothered to complain to the BBC, pointless though I know that is.

I was struck by the very different spin the BBC gave the lorry queuing story compared to C4 and ITV. From the beginning and before it had even built up in numbers the headline was about 'hopes of agreement' with macron to get them moving. Two days later that was still the first thing they said about it...

I got a shitty non-response reply. So I've complained about that too.

Apparently all of the backlog has been cleared.

Rajan has already done his bit to rehabilitate Powell's reputation

As with Priti Patel - it's worth examining the synergy between the anti Islam strands of Indian politics and the far right.

Doesn't Rajan realize that Powell was referring to Hindus too?

I think at this stage it doesn't matter. There's an anti-Islam alliance which links Modi, Netanyahu and his supporters in and beyond Israel and white racists. retrospectively claiming Powell for this alliance strengthen the links with Empire and white racism. Bizarrely even Saudi Arabia belongs to the team.

                                          Dealing with... feeling rejected

Some 3.6 million people currently living in the UK were born elsewhere in the EU - about 5.5% of the country's population.

After the EU referendum in 2016, many EU citizens said that after building their lives here and making the UK their home, they felt rejected.

With our departure from the EU in its final stage, and many Leave voters celebrating, it's possible that these feelings of rejection could resurface. But, Ms Burke says, it's important not to tie this feeling to your sense of self-worth.

"With any rejection, we take things really personally and think it's about us - but usually it's not," Ms Burke says.

"We give ourselves a bigger role than we actually played in that person's decision, whether that's Brexit or a break-up."
EU citizens who live here have lost fucking rights you fucking moron.T

I was watching the BBC news the other day and there was a heartwarming story on advanced new prosthetic limbs. It's a great story.

However, a small but to my mind significant problem. There was something I'd never ever noticed before, in a BBC news story. It had bouncy music behind it. I found this really unnerving. Why would that editorial decision be made? My guess is that it's something to do with it being available on lots of different platforms, including social media. But, I just don't understand it. The story is strong enough to stand on its own merits, and this kind of post-production cheapens it and the BBC.
