That's why I mentioned 'Randy Andy' on the previous page. Their association has long been known, and Andrew is in a photograph with one of the [then] 15-year old main accusers.

Note this morning that Epstein lawyer Ken Starr has been on Fox News 65 times since the arrest without once being asked about his former(?) client.

So Prince Andrew is clearly implicated. Hmmm.

Fascinating speculation about Epstein's rise without trace. (which expands on one of the angles in one of Bruno's opening articles.)Last edited by The Awesome Berbaslug!!!; 12-07-2019, 18:15.

Epstein was one of those people that Wall Street people gossiped about (especially after Madoff). The two threads present in all of that gossip that I heard were a) the "girls/young women/models" and b) a strong belief that he never had anywhere near as much money as he claimed to have (something that should sound familiar w/r/t to the current President of the US.

There appears to be a huge scandal about to break that could bring down many but will that be allowed.
Is there any connection between Epstein and Berlusconi?

The primary issue that he has is that the Palace is nowhere near as influential over here and that US law is much less protective of public figures when it comes to matters of defamation.
Berlusconi has always be a libertine, but his interest in much younger women came quite late in life (while there have long been rumblings that he supplemented his youthful cruise ship crooner earnings by acting as a gigolo). It has been suggested that the change reflects his obsession with his "performance", which is also reflected in the consumption of massive quantities of viagra. He also seems to fancy aspiring "showgirls" in the early 20s, that than literal schoolgirls.

Edward VIII. What stories were those (apart from his Nazi collaboration and his flirtatious wife)
Well the story was that he was receiving his regular briefings on cabinet meetings from Chamberlain, and then sending Wallis over to Von Ribbentrop with a transcript. That's a pretty big story to keep under wraps. It also transpires that Churchill had to threaten the duke of Windsor with a court martial to get him to go back to england, and to stop hanging out with Nazi Spies. he also seemed to spend the years after the war breaking currency regulations and funnelling large sums of sterling out of the UK. He was a pretty brazen bad 'un.

"it has always been rumoured that Anthony Blunt, at the time a Soviet spy, was sent immediately after the war to the Schloss Kronberg, home to the princes of Hesse, to retrieve documents detailing the arrangements between Edward and the Nazis. These have never been seen since, but are said to have been used by Blunt to guarantee his immunity from prosecution for his espionage activities."

It so happens that our Frankfurt office once hosted a black tie "dinner dance" at that Schloss (which is now a five star hotel).
This was years before I arrived, and I always looked askance at colleagues who wanted to do it again, but never knew of that part of the place's history. They are rather more up front about the fact that it was Eisenhower's HQ for several years.

Odd that those documents were held at Hesse Castle, given that the hereditary duke was married to Prince Phillip's sister, and both were fairly enthusiastic Nazis, Though they both died along with two of their kids, and seemingly a newborn, when they were flying to their brother's wedding to the daughter of Lord Geddes. Apparently the child decided to make an unscheduled appearance, causing Prince Georg donatus to try and land his plane in ostend, but he ploughed it into a factory chimney. He shouldn't be confused with christoph, prince of Hesse, who was his first cousin and died fighting with the SS. He also was married to a sister of Prince Phillip. He was also at the wedding. Nor should he be confused with Phillipp Prince of Hesse, after whom Prince Phillip is named. He was also at the wedding. He joined the nazis in 1930, but by 1943 had fallen out with someone, and wound up in Dachau. He was 'liberated' from the SS by the Wehrmacht shortly before the end of the war.Last edited by The Awesome Berbaslug!!!; 13-07-2019, 18:11.
