One way to get around problems of unplanned pregnances creating a permanent underclass would be to legally enforce universal uptake of long-term contraception at the onset of puberty," he wrote.

"Vaccination laws give it a predecent, I would argue."

The paper also reported that in a second post to the website, Mr Sabisky dismissed the Home Affairs Select Committee's description of female genital mutilation as a scandal.

"It is still unclear to what extent FGM represents a serious risk to young girls, raised in the UK, of certain minority group origins," he wrote.

"Much of the hue and cry looks more like a moral panic."

INTERIOR: Cummings is sat on velvet throne, draped in the finest ermine. He wears an extravagant crown and the sign behind him reads "Lord of all he surveys". He is reading aloud from a list entitled "All those who have ever wronged me shall be beheaded"

[Cut to EXTERIOR, where LauraK, Peston and assorted hacks are peering through the window]: "We are only getting hints of what his strategy is"

The RTE news report on this more or less said that apart from mo mowlam, he was one of the few Northern Ireland secretaries who managed to not make things worse. The things that made him a vaguely useful northern Irish secretary are the things that got him fired (Remain, likely to point out the problems that brexit is causing Northern Ireland. and not on board with giving an amnesty to murderers just because they were employed by the state)

Mowlam wasn't that popular, particularly with Unionists. They and Nationalists only tend to agree about a Grand Vizier when it's someone as spectacularly useless as Bradley.

Even if anyone now cared what Unionists think, given Smith's sniping at Johnson last year this is hardly a surprise

In so far as reopening Stormont counts as getting something done, the credit is mainly to Johnson personally

You'd like to think so. A PM that clearly cannot keep his dick in his pants is very vulnerable to blackmail and as we've seen from Johnson exchanging sex for favours.
