Yes that's correct. Grady is the Independent left candidate. A working academic from a working class background a specialist in industrial relations and pension. The other candidates are Matt Waddup who has worked for the Union for 17 years, and Jo McNeill who works in widening participation at the University of Liverpool and is the UCU'Left' candidate.
Yes turnout is crucial the last poll had only 13 per cent. This time the election only has a 3 week window for voting.
I didn't know that about your partner E10. I'm sure she has a tale or two to tell...
