If someone who is a captain (four sleeve stripes) is assigned to first officer duties on someone else's flight, does she get to wear her captain's uniform - from rank by achievement , or have to wear a first officer's one - acting rank?

Given that they are encouraged to wear their uniforms when riding in the back, I'd be quite surprised if they had to change in the cockpit.

Of equal importance could be the question of what happens if the officer acting down has cooler sunglasses and a bigger watch than the flight captain.
