What Nightmares Will Come...
The worst thing about them is the waking up exhausted because you've spent your sleep time being stressed out. But that's because they just take the anxiety and misery you suppress all day and magnify it for you - great.
I had quite a Gothic one last night. Having to wander through vast subterranean halls and tunnels - there's a kind of massive bathroom that features quite often, in different forms, that was part of this labyrinth. The tunnels are kind of like the Moscow underground, monstrous and tiled. The stressful bit comes from the assorted knife killers that are chasing me through them, or sometimes from the traps laid for the unwitting. A bit like The Cube, maybe.
