One of the Republicans running against Ilhan Omar is Danielle Stella, a QAnon booster. Her whereabouts are unknown as she has an active felony warrant out for shoplifting.

But still, if Sanders wants to bring people into the party and change the party, he should start by becoming a member and doing some of the legwork. By claiming perpetual outsider status I think he loses credibility in the argument that he's trying to change it. Elizabeth Warren, for example, or even AOC, have far more credibility in terms of the Democratic Party than Sanders does. They are members of the party they want to change, not just sniping from the outside.

Technically, she is eligible
The minimum age is applied at the time of swearing in, and she would have been 35 for a couple of months at the time of her inauguration in 2024.
That said, I am sure that the DNC would be extremely wary of nominating someone who wasn't technicality eligible at the time of the primaries and convention.Last edited by ursus arctos; 22-02-2020, 00:23.
