A whole sequence of Biden senility in this thread, from just one day's appearances:

It really is a shame all the highly competent candidates dropped out. Warren, in particular, has been spectacularly good over the course of the covid crisis.

Biden does look bad. Probably not much to celebrate if he wins, he'll get eaten alive in office and we'll have another fascist in four years.

Nah, they are no longer trying to win votes or appeal to certain special interests and are finally speaking their minds.
It begs the question, if they are smart enough to know what needs to be done, why couldn't they dispense with the real talk when they were in the race.

to use a Nigerian proverb, "medicine for dead person".

It;'s worse than a shame that you keep trashing Bernie Sanders as well. Warren lost. Sander shas beenj raising money for CoronaVirus Warren it turns out took 14 million dollars from a Super Pac to save the day for Biden .

It's really great that the media waited to let a bunch of old people in a state that won't go for any Democratic candidate in November to vote and say that the candidate that didn't finish higher than 4th in any contest before then was suddenly the frontrunner with unquestionable momentum. Great job, shows what a wonderful system we have!

And it's all Bernie Sanders fault.

Well, if Sanders hadn't been running they'd have not felt the need to coalesce around anyone.

And given that Sanders now can't win the primary of the supposedly lefter-wing party in a one-on-one against a senile idiot, you'd definitely not want him running in a general election.

Not sure whether Joe will even know his name or able to string together a simple sentence in the next few months.

                    Glad Bernie ain't going away.

I mean...there's nothing stopping any of the other candidates from coming out and saying "you know what? Things just got a lot worse in recent weeks, and while I threw my support behind Joe Biden before, the past two weeks have made me realize that he's not up to the task." The publicity they would get from that would be worth millions of ad buys alone, and if they were smart they could build up an online movement. Warren could easily do this, but she seems to beholden to party leadership. I keep saying it, the old rules don't apply. Fuck party decorum at this point. They wouldn't be able to overtake Biden in terms of delegates, but who the fuck knows if there will be any more primary elections at all. There will presumably still be some sort of convention. Get out there and build a movement and be an alternative to Joe Fucking Biden on the second ballot.

Don't you think it's a shame that we have Biden instead of one of the many competent candidates who were running but had to drop out?

The candidates that bail always have "suspended" their campaigns. That word means they could come back.

Yeha, that was a pretty bad strategy on their part, too bad they decided to cave in when Operation Support Biden kicked into gear, especially from Warren. But at least they kneecapped Bernie, that was the most important thing.

Exaclty it could be anyone who is "not Joe Biden"- It has to be someone who is "not Joe Biden".

the fact that at the height of a pandemic which is likely to kill millions of Americans- which the right is starting to claim is an acceptable attrition rate -you would still rather scream that it's Bernie's fault than try and identify a feasible candidate,- who will need the votes from Bernie Sanders the second placed candidate -(who you've acknowdged has the best policies) shows everything that's wrong with the place you've ended up, politically.

You seem singularly relaxed about it. Because it's all Bernie's fault

Totally! Would be so cool to see Warren or one of the others jump back in just to stir it up.

The problem seems to be the DNC who will fight to the death to wheel Biden in and move his arms and mouth around like grandpappy from Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

That seems to be awash with non-sequitors.

All I am saying is that it's a shame that none of the competent candidates is left in the race, many of whom would be excellent at dealing with this crisis. And that Warren has been exceptionally good across the Coronavirus pandemic, even before she had to withdraw from the election (and, after Super-Tuesday, she really did have to withdraw, because the establishment votes had gone to Biden and Sanders's 30% wasn't shifting its loyalty under any circumstances, even if that meant Biden was going to win).

If Sanders withdrew and threw his support behind Warren... perhaps that would work? I struggle to see any other way to usurp Biden at this point.

Sandres is competent , Thats why he has the best policies,

                                                  Who could be.an acceptable candidate?

if you ( or any Warren supporter) had any interest in finding a solution then we'd see names floated.

Instead there's the relentless and gleeful blaming of Sanders. The man with the best healthcare policy which Warren was too chicken to fight for- because she wrongly hoped that would get the machine behind her.

Bernie broke up Public Enemy and seems to have turned Chuck D into Kanye West.

That's the equivalent of Malcolm X becoming the keynote speaker for the American friends of Zionist Israel after bumping into Moshe Dayan in a hotel elevator.
