    Clay Shirky

I mentioned the guy who wrote this book in the old place, and having bought the book, I can only say that it's truly, truly, magnificent. A book it's ill-advised to read at night, because your head starts buzzing with ideas.

    Here's some more:

    Here comes everybody

    Interweb and protest

Wikipedia and Shinto, or how the internet means you can do big things for love

I'm reading Here Comes Everybody at the moment, it's a good discussion of the power of social internet stuff, but I haven't read anything that's made me gasp yet.

Everything is Miscellaneous by David Weinberger had much more of that head-buzzing-with-ideas effect for me - I'd recommend it
