And given the current appeal of Las Vegas to a certain type of Irishman, there has to be non-negligible overlap between the two audiences.

My current is hypothesis is karmic retribution for Michael Flatley.

michael flatley is your fault, not ours. He would have been an entirely different person if he'd been born in mayo. He would never have done Irish dancing for a start.

I remember seeing a list of the top ten earners in music about 10 years ago, at the top were U2 with something like $250 million dollars, because they'd sold their tour rights in one block, next were the rolling stones with something absurd like $150 million, and seven of the other ten were doing 180 nights a year in vegas and getting $80-90 million, like celine Dion, and elton john.

There will be all kinds of lawsuits.
Negligence and so forth.
Not against his opponent in the bout, but against the fraternity and everyone who didn't get him aid when they should have.

Also, the university will be sued. Universities have tried to keep fraternities at arms length - far enough to avoid liability, but close enough to exert some sort of control and, insofar as it's an attractive feature for prospective students, keep as part of the "student experience." But, if Penn State is typical and I don't see why it shouldn't be, juries are more than happy to make the university liable for bad shit that happens on fraternities, even if they're off campus.
