You should listen to those two sets of broadcasts. They are really very different. Also, William joyce could easily have avoided execution, except he chose to be tried as an english subject. It would have been tricky for them to try him for treason under his Irish citizenship, while going down the american route really wouldn't have helped.

I drive past joyce's grave at least once a week. He's buried in bohermore cemetery which is on the road out of the north east corner of eyre square away from the city centre.
