Bloody hell. Imagine being in there when the earthquake struck and being slopped over the side!
That would be like the famous lateral thinking puzzle of the corpse of a man wearing nothing but swimming trunks being found in the middle of a burning forest, except in this case it's the corpse of a man wearing nothing but swimming trunks being found next to a high rise luxury apartment/hotel, ("he didn't jump").

This is a fascinating and dark dark story. Russian intelligence acting through a German member of the AFD paying Polish nationalists to impersonate Ukrainians and burn down a Hungarian cultural centre. Things are getting darker

Today, his brother Pat (Pasquale) Musitano was shot outside his lawyer's office at 7 a.m. He's apparently still alive.

This is not a great recipe for aging gracefully. From the CBC.
The list of people who could want revenge against the Musitanos is likely long. The family is linked to convictions for bombing and extortion in the 1970s, as well as the hit on mobster Domenic Racco in the 80s, and the murders of Johnny "Pops" Papalia and one of his lieutenants, Carmen Barillaro, in 1997.
The brothers reached a deal and pleaded to conspiracy to commit murder in the death of Barillaro. In turn, the charges against them in connection with Papalia's death were dropped. They were sentenced to 10 years in jail, but got out in 2007, and had made little noise since then — until bullets started flying once more.
The Musitanos were once protected by an allegiance with the famed Rizzuto crime family, based out of Montreal.
The 2013 death of reputed Mafia boss Vito Rizzuto created a power vacuum within the organization, and now warring factions have weakened the once-mighty Montreal Mafia. That left the Musitanos to fend for themselves.

If you're part of a crew, nobody ever tells you that they're going to kill you, doesn't happen that way. There weren't any arguments or curses like in the movies. See, your murderers come with smiles, they come as your friends, the people who've cared for you all of your life. And they always seem to come at a time that you're at your weakest and most in need of their help.

I have a high tolerance for crazee fashion, but I saw these in Selfridges today. They look like they've been fished out of the canal.

This makes me sad. For what I pay for my house, I could only afford a dorm room in LA.

I was going to the Spurs v Brighton game on Tuesday and walsked from the Tesco/Ikea where I parked my car to the stadium.
Walking past the Meridian Water station currently under construction (in between Northumberland Park and Angel Road) I saw a large number of camping tents near the railway overpass.
Aparently they were where some of the construction workers for the new stadium and the surrounding works have been staying.Last edited by Tactical Genius; 26-04-2019, 12:00.
