    Is that in the UK?

Because here, “Christian School,” could refer to anything from a poncey Episcopalian preppy place to a standard parochial school that’s only mildly abusive to a complete nightmare Evangelical situation. The volume of Christianity in the curriculum varies widely.

        I see.
I think Texas has the full range of options as well.

If it is any defense they do make some real good candy as well and he kind of binned in working there to pursue an ice hockey career. He is a top bloke.

I do also want to get some of that candy corn.

Brachs make some OK candy, this is true. Candy corn, though, is all basically horrible. I have never understood the appeal. Frankly, green bean casserole candy corn is more appealing just for the novelty factor.

My wife is mad for the original Halloween candy corn. (She makes fangs out of it.) It's fine, but how much of it can you really eat?

It is made by Ferrara Pan. Which also brought you Lemonheads, Red Hots and now most of the Wonka stuff. Every so often when I drive past the factory there is a superb smell. It sadly isn’t predictable as I would love to embed it in my kids memories.

There is a Mars factory in the other direction which is apparently the prime hunting ground at Halloween.

SO I watched Close Encounters of the Third Kind again at the weekend. It happened to be on one of the hundreds of ITV channels and the cub came and sat to watch with me, which was really nice.
It struck me that there were some minor things about the film that I noticed now that wouldn't have struck me before - pejorative references to mental health, the fact that the protagonists family are conveniently bumped off as it were when the narrative no longer needed them etc.
So I thought I'd have a bit of a look about to see if I could find any reviews or analysis of the film or it's re-releases that broached this at all.
I expected that I might find some critical discussion amongst all the encomia. What I wasn't expecting was This.
Close Encounters is a fascist film, apparently. Who knew?
