Really? He's a fucking brave man. that is one of the grimmest things I've ever read. I don't think I could put myself in that world long enough to write a book about it. the only lighter spot in all the grimness is that a lot of the explosives didn't go off, and that things could have been even worse.

I just finished Columbine by Dave Cullen. It's fascinating. Almost everything you likely remember of the incident is probably wrong. The 'Trench Coat Mafia', the geeks vs jocks, the Cassie Bernall "I believe in God" thing. It was all myth that became 'fact'. In addition to being an exploratory of the event and the people, it looks at the story and how wrong it turned out to be.

Actual Donal Skehan recipe:

For the beans, combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan and season with salt and pepper. Bring to the boil, reduce to a simmer and cook uncovered for about 15 minutes until it has reduced to a nice sauce consistency.

Below this were two buttons, one saying "Sure, go ahead" and the other saying "WTF? Are you kidding me?"

Of course I clicked the WTF, and it revealed the legend "APRIL FOOL! What do you take us for?"
