I have never heard his name pronounced, so when I look at it, I am instantly reminded of this.

So, Cuauhtemoc Blanco, then
Was this meant to be in Football? Can't follow the link at work, so I don't know what it is.
I've known some Cuauhtemocs, but they went by "Temoc" or "Temo". At UCLA, I met a few people with indigenous or Aztec names--I'm guessing their parents were part of the Chicano movement in the 60s and 70s, and decided to give their children native names and not Spanish ones. They were proud of their names too, but got annoyed when teachers mangled them. But hell, I'd have trouble pronouncing Xochitl.
